1:00 PM - The waves have picked up a little today... It's knee high + and semi glassy with light onshore winds. It's nothing great but it was rideable for longboarding on the high tide sandbar. Overall, with the dropping tide and onshore winds, most likely there won't be much left as the afternoon goes on. Stay tuned...
7:30 AM - The waves are still looking pretty weak this morning. The surf was looking around knee high, there were a few slightly larger waves that looked rideable.

See the article on local surfer Tim Ellis in the current Florida Trend Magazine. The magazine profiles businessmen/surfers from around the state. Ellis, an attorney in the Jacksonville area, can be seen riding his SUP at the Poles in the lifestyle section of the magazine.
Team Sunrise has done it again. They have won the Oakley Surf Shop Challenge and have a full page ad on page 121 of the current issue of Surfer Magazine.

Aaron Frosio grew up in Neptune Beach, FL. surfing the same east coast
waves you have been surfing all your life. He came up through the amateur
ranks of the ESA and NSSA and received many titles along the way. This
paved the way for a professional career on the WQS where he was ranked
among the top 60 surfers in the world. He traveled the world for 7 years
and surfed many different waves. The ones he fell in love with are in
Costa Rica. Aaron has 16 years of surfing experience in Costa Rica. His
knowledge of this area will put you on the right break at the right time.

catering to Jacksonville and the beaches community. The concept of combining
a restaurant and a surf museum was conceived by owner Mike Ferrara. He
is a local surfer with extensive restaurant experience. The surfing heritage
of Jacksonville's beaches is greater than most people are familiar with
