Public Safety Announcement 

We are coming into peak Hurricane Season, a time when we get bigger, powerful waves. It’s a time that the line-up goes from crowded to extremely crowded and it is dangerous. It’s important for surfers to exercise caution in crowded conditions. For beginners, choosing an uncrowded spot will give you the space to make the process of learning to surf a lot more stress-free. That way, as your wave riding skills become more refined, you’ll be able to step up to the more popular, over-crowded breaks which makes it safer for everyone.

Happy Tuesday, Friends. Our second report shows thigh to waist high range surf with light ENE winds. It’s still rideable. PLEASE be careful with the crowds. Look where you’re going and for goodness’ sake WEAR A LEASH when you paddle out straight into the pack. Give it a look and check back for our next update tomorrow at Sunrise.
