SUNDAY GOLD: This ran in a Paul Witzig interview with our favourite journo Ian Cameron in the mag six years ago (Vol. 14#3). It's a fascinating chat covering (among other things) Hot Generation, Evolution and Sea of Joy. These three films fed a surfing/cultural revolution, and Paul had recently remastered them for DVD. This is Wayne Lynch of course in a frame from Evolution. Australians like to argue they completely re-invented surfing in the late 60s . . . well that story happens to be backed up 100% in this trilogy.
