Good Late Morning! Our waves have increased a bit since the morning report, but we’re still in the knee high range. At report time, the tide is nearing high and the wind is strong onshore. Bring the small wave gear if you’re going for it and enjoy your Friday!

In the Tropics

Mother Nature is amazing! Right on schedule, we have 2 Tropical Systems worth watching, (has there ever been a late August or early September when that didn’t happen)? The first, a Tropical System coming off of Africa, and a second near Hispanola. At this point, Forecasters are calling for  the first to stay away from the USA and the second will move into the Gulf. Hopefully we’ll get some pumping surf without the negative impact of landfall. Keep an eye on the Tropics!
