Good Late Afternoon Thursday! Very choppy, disorganized surf continues late this afternoon. It’s about shoulder high  to 1 or 2′ overhead with strong ENE winds. We still have leftover Humberto swell combined with a strong Nor’Easter. The surf is large and rough, be safe and know your limits, it’s not a day for beginners or lessons! Otherwise, have a nice Thursday!

IN THE TROPICS

Tropical Storm Jerry has formed as of yesterday and could become a hurricane by this evening as it approaches the Leeward Islands. Peak Season is here and Tropical Storm Events can happen through the month of October, [like Hurricane Sandy 10.28.2012]. Keep an eye on the Tropics!
