We are coming into peak Hurricane Season, a time when we get bigger, powerful waves. It’s a time that the line-up goes from crowded to extremely crowded and it is dangerous. It’s important for surfers to exercise caution in crowded conditions. For beginners, choosing an uncrowded spot will give you the space to make the process of learning to surf a lot more stress-free. That way, as your wave riding skills become more refined, you’ll be able to step up to the more popular, over-crowded breaks which makes it safer for everyone.

Good Morning and Happy Saturday, Friends! Our first report shows thigh to waist high range surf with the occasional chest high wave, with light offshore, westerly winds. There are some beautiful, fun looking waves out there this morning along with the weekend crowd. Give it a look and check back for the next update from the Wavemasters Contest at Jax Beach Pier.
