Public Safety And Common Surfing Knowledge
We are coming into peak Hurricane Season, a time when we get bigger, powerful waves. It’s a time that the line-up goes from crowded to extremely crowded and it is dangerous. It’s important for surfers to exercise caution in crowded conditions. For beginners, choosing an uncrowded spot will give you the space to make the process of learning to surf a lot more stress-free. That way, as your wave riding skills become more refined, you’ll be able to step up to the more popular, over-crowded breaks which makes it safer for everyone.

Happy Monday, Friends! Our second report shows semi-choppy, chest high +/- range surf, with light, variable easterly winds. At report time, it seems like we’re getting some frontrunners from Hurricane Franklyn and it’s looking fun despite the onshores. Give it a look and check back for our next update tomorrow morning at Sunrise!
