Happy Friday! Choppy, disorganized surf continues in the shoulder high to 1 or 2′ overhead range, with strong winds out of the ENE. The surf is large and rough, be safe and know your limits, it’s not a day for beginners or lessons. TGIF!

Hurricane Jerry has strengthened and is now a Cat 2, expected to weaken today according to NHC. Peak Season is here and Tropical Storm Events can happen through the month of October, [like Hurricane Sandy 10.28.2012]. Keep an eye on the Tropics!
