In the modern era, our surf breaks can be very crowded and it is dangerous. It’s important for surfers to exercise caution in crowded conditions. For beginners, choosing an uncrowded spot will give you the space to make the process of learning to surf a lot more stress-free. That way, as your wave riding skills become more refined, you’ll be able to step up to the more popular, over-crowded breaks which makes it safer for everyone.

Good Tuesday, Friends! Our second report shows choppy, large, Nor’easter surf in the head high +/- range with strong, northerly winds. At report time, it’s a struggle to get into the waves due to strong sideshore winds but it’s rideable if your into a Nor’easter style session. [Note: It’s not a day for beginners or lessons, be safe if you’re going for it!] Have a nice Tuesday afternoon and check back for our next update tomorrow morning at Sunrise!
