Public Safety And Common Surfing Knowledge
We are coming into peak Hurricane Season, a time when we get bigger, powerful waves. It’s a time that the line-up goes from crowded to extremely crowded and it is dangerous. It’s important for surfers to exercise caution in crowded conditions. For beginners, choosing an uncrowded spot will give you the space to make the process of learning to surf a lot more stress-free. That way, as your wave riding skills become more refined, you’ll be able to step up to the more popular, over-crowded breaks which makes it safer for everyone.

Happy Monday, Friends! Our thirdd report shows semi-choppy, head high +/- range surf, with variable easterly winds. At report time, we’re getting swell from Hurricane Franklin and it’s looking fun. The park is closed for the next 3 days, [if you can believe that] but we’ll get an update tomorrow morning at Sunrise regardless!
