Public Safety Announcement
We are coming into peak Hurricane Season, a time when we get bigger, powerful waves. It’s a time that the line-up goes from crowded to extremely crowded and it is dangerous. It’s important for surfers to exercise caution in crowded conditions. For beginners, choosing an uncrowded spot will give you the space to make the process of learning to surf a lot more stress-free. That way, as your wave riding skills become more refined, you’ll be able to step up to the more popular, over-crowded breaks which makes it safer for everyone.

Happy Friday, Friends! Our second report shows choppy, chest to head high range surf, with larger sets and strong winds out of the NNE. There are some sizeable choppy waves out there so be safe and know your limits, it’s not a day for beginners or lessons. Otherwise, give it a look if you are into a Nor’easter style session and check back for our next update tomorrow morning at Sunrise!
