We are coming into peak Hurricane Season, a time when we get bigger, powerful waves. It’s a time that the line-up goes from crowded to extremely crowded and it is dangerous. It’s important for surfers to exercise caution in crowded conditions. For beginners, choosing an uncrowded spot will give you the space to make the process of learning to surf a lot more stress-free. That way, as your wave riding skills become more refined, you’ll be able to step up to the more popular, over-crowded breaks which makes it safer for everyone.

 Happy Sunday, Friends! Our second report shows semi-choppy, knee to thigh high range surf with light to moderate winds out of the SE. At report time, the waves seem to be slightly larger than early this morning. Hopefully, the new swell that’s in the forecast is already starting to come in.
