Public Safety Announcement 

We are coming into peak Hurricane Season, a time when we get bigger, powerful waves. It’s a time that the line-up goes from crowded to extremely crowded and it is dangerous. It’s important for surfers to exercise caution in crowded conditions. For beginners, choosing an uncrowded spot will give you the space to make the process of learning to surf a lot more stress-free. That way, as your wave riding skills become more refined, you’ll be able to step up to the more popular, over-crowded breaks which makes it safer for everyone.

Happy Sunday, Friends! Our second report shows decent surf in the chest high +/- range with “cool” sideshore North winds. At report time, it’s chilly and the waves look pretty fun considering the moderate winds. Bring the wetsuit top, give it a look, and check back for our next update tomorrow morning at Sunrise!
