Public Safety Announcement 

We are coming into peak Hurricane Season, a time when we get bigger, powerful waves. It’s a time that the line-up goes from crowded to extremely crowded and it is dangerous. It’s important for surfers to exercise caution in crowded conditions. For beginners, choosing an uncrowded spot will give you the space to make the process of learning to surf a lot more stress-free. That way, as your wave riding skills become more refined, you’ll be able to step up to the more popular, over-crowded breaks which makes it safer for everyone.

Happy Tuesday, Friends! Our second report shows clean surf in the thigh to occasional waist high range with light winds out of the NNW. There are some nice waves for the small wave gear out there. Bring the wetsuit top if you’re going for it, and check back for tomorrow’s update at sunrise.
