We are coming into peak Hurricane Season, a time when we get bigger, powerful waves. It’s a time that the line-up goes from crowded to extremely crowded and it is dangerous. It’s important for surfers to exercise caution in crowded conditions. For beginners, choosing an uncrowded spot will give you the space to make the process of learning to surf a lot more stress-free. That way, as your wave riding skills become more refined, you’ll be able to step up to the more popular, over-crowded breaks which makes it safer for everyone.

Happy Wednesday, Friends! Our second report shows semi-choppy surf in the thigh to occasional waist high range with light to moderate winds out of the ENE. It’s not great but it’s rideable for the groms or logging. Give it a peek and check back for the next update tomorrow morning at Sunrise!
