Northeast Florida Beaches Are Open
Report 2 – 12:30 PM
Today’s Tides
8:16 AM low 1.1 ft. 2:47 PM high 5.2 ft. 9:18 PM low 1.3 ft. Good Afternoon! At report time, we have semi-choppy waves in the thigh high +/- range with moderate onshore-NE winds. We are approaching the high tide mark and the outer bar is barely breaking and the inside is slamming shore pound. Hopefully, we’ll have better surf later today when the tide drops. On another note, the recent rash of Jellyfish stings have improved [as only 1 person reported being stung today]. Have a nice Thursday afternoon!

When it comes to Tropical Storm Season, Mother Nature never lets us down. We are always discussing the next storm during late August through September. For surfers, it’s usually a good thing as long as the Storms don’t hit land. Let’s hope for minimal destruction and firing surf in 2020!
