Happy Labor Day from Hanna Park! Our swell continues with waist to chest high range surf. Winds are strong out of the east but lighter in the early hours. The tide is backing out at report time and we could see improvement in size when it turns. Get on it and enjoy, and check back for updates.
In the Tropics
We have 2 Tropical Systems worth watching, the first, Tropical Storm Florence is moving towards the middle Atlantic, and a second just North of Cuba, Tropical Storm Gordon. At this point, Forecasters are calling for Tropical Storm Florence to stay away from the US coast BUT some models indicate it may turn westward, (towards USA coast). The second will move across South Florida, (Keys) and into the Gulf, (Gulf coasters need to keep an eye on this one folks). Hopefully we’ll get some pumping surf without the negative impact of landfall. Keep an eye on the Tropics!
