The COVID-19 Pandemic is Real
Dear Friends,
We are living in very strange times. Our Community leaders advise that we stay in our homes unless it’s absolutely necessary to go outdoors. Schools, businesses, and beaches have never been closed to the public, this is a wake up call. COVID-19 is real and we are all advised to follow CDC Guidelines. As we wait out the Beaches’ Closures, we’ll continue to do Surf Reports until we are advised not to go outdoors.

Ah…The elusive Dune Duck
I had an idea about parking at the public boat ramp there at Mayport, about an hour before low tide. And paddling my SUP board around the jetties, surf for a little while on one side or the other, and then let the in coming tide help push me back up the river mouth back to the boat ramp. I figure; as long as I don’t step foot on the beach I won’t be breaking any rules. I would very much like opinions on this…good idea or bad idea. (P.S.) Don’t bother SUP Bashing me….I’ve heard it all.
Dan I think that’s a great idea! And yes I was so happy to see the ducks!
I guess an SUP is a small boat and boats ramps are open for inshore and offshore access.
