For beginners, choosing an uncrowded spot will give you the space to make the process of learning a lot more stress-free. That way, as your wave riding skills become more refined, you’ll be able to step up to the more popular, over-crowded breaks which makes it safer for everyone.

Happy Wednesday, Friends! Our first report shows large choppy surf in the head high +/- range with strong southerly winds and current. At report time, with the lower tide, it’s not great but it’s rideable, [if you don’t mind the drift/current] which is running to the North. NOTE: Storms are approaching from the west and the waves should improve later today. Keep an eye on the cams and check back for our next update!
