Public Safety Announcement

In the modern era, our surf breaks can be very crowded and it is dangerous. It’s important for surfers to exercise caution in crowded conditions. For beginners, choosing an uncrowded spot will give you the space to make the process of learning a lot more stress-free. That way, as your wave riding skills become more refined, you’ll be able to step up to the more popular, over-crowded breaks which makes it safer for everyone.

Report 2 / Rating:  ★ ★ ★ of 10

Good Thursday, Friends! Our second report shows more of the same. Large-choppy surf, with strong SSE winds and current. At report time, the waves look rideable but it’s a mess with the effects of Hurricane Helene which is approaching the Panhandle Region in the Gulf of Mexico. Keep in mind, with Tropical Storm conditions Hanna Park is officially closed. Be safe, follow local advisories, and check back for our next update tomorrow morning at Sunrise.
