The 2nd Annual SURF-A-THON for Surfear Negra

The 2nd Annual Surf-A-Thon was held today, [Saturday 12.02.2021] benefiting Surfear Negra, a charity on a mission to diversify the line up. Groups of Surfers organized Teams which reached out for pledges from Friends, Family, & Acquaintances. Funds raised were used to support the ¡100 Girls! Fund, a program designed to expose young girls of to the sport of surfing through surf camp funding, community-building, and mentorship. Surfear Negra directly pays partner surf camps who influence diversity through local resident participation. In turn, an inclusive community is fostered while local businesses are supported!
