We had a chat with the park manager this morning. He states there are trees down throughout the park, therefore beach users can’t access the beach, (although roads looked cleared from the gate). He stated he hoped to have the park open by Saturday, (meanwhile the fabulous Poles waves of Hurricane Irma/Jose will be lost forever)! Thankfully every other beach is open from Fernandina to St Augustine. Strange you have to leave town to surf when your backyard is available.Go figure???
