Sunrise doing there same old tricks as usual and everyone is starting to catch on…. and that’s if your not in there little ass kissing groupie you won’t ever see yourself on there surf report. Because no one in there little club is going anywhere in life cuz there just talentless spoiled assholes! So they gotta at LEAST put each other on the surf report day after day and win the local contests so they can at least feel like they are good at something in life because why do you think none of these local “LEDENDS” are on the world tour… because there just spoiled kids that happened to know the right people and get into the industry because it’s not from talent, because if it were there would be TONS of other surfers in there places!

Sometimes you make the surf report. Sometimes you don’t. I’ve seen Eddie wait around 4 hours trying to be fair in his coverage. I think most of us appreciate the hard work he puts in every day along with all those others who helped him thank you 911!

Tim LMFAO I been the only one out in the F#&*$G WINTER sometimes at the pier on the south or north side and him AND the surfjaxpier (a.k.a void) would go to the other side and take pics of the waves and say NO ONES OUT that’s why I said what I said earlier. Because I’ve been surfing the poles, the pier, micklers, etc. with my log’s for yearsss and I know what eddie looks like 5 miles away in basically the fog hahaha not really but I know him when I see him and the different guys that do it for void.
So Tim your very wrong I WISH YOU WERE RIGHT… but your NOT. And some kids out there that are beginners are starting to catch on to it and don’t think it’s very fair and I HAPPEN TO AGREE WITH THEM!!!

Hire your own photographer, Don. Don’t dump on a nice guy who does his best to be fair to all. Surf to surf, not for coverage.

I am definitely not on any inside club, I’m 64, overweight, and had given up all hope of ever surfing again just a few months ago due to effects of radiation, after my second bout with Cancer. Eddie snagged a shot of me last week on a wave that wasn’t anything to brag about, but he’s a good friend to a lot of people, and knows what effect just having your pic on the report means. For me I had a whole S-load of people tell me how glad they were to see me back in the water. Surfers from my home break Folly Beach to grandmas, that have been praying for me for the last couple of years.
Surfing’s roots go back to a whole lot of peace, and love. Paddle up to that old dude next to you in the line up sometimes, and just ask him how long he’s been surfing, and what it means to him. It’s brought me back from a 26 ft fall 10 years ago, and Cancer now twice. Thank’s Eddie, and team for all the times that you, are the only ones there. I am one that appreciates the service you guys provide. Keep it up, but for sure take a break the next few days, and go get some.
Yeah Don R: 911 puts up pics of everyone at all levels who surf for fun. Most aren’t sponsored or “kissing someone’s ass” they just happen to be in the line of fire while they’re shooting the report. I promise that if you introduce yourself to Eddie, Julz or Alex they will make an effort to get some pics of you to throw up on report. They’re good people (notice how I spelled “they’re” )
Don, I feel you are forgetting what surfing is about. It is about having fun while connecting with the ocean, and spending time with the surfing community/extended family. I am grateful for the many surf photographers throughout our area for capturing the moments we all share in the water. Eddie, Julz, Alex, and the several other guest photographers have a special way of showing all of us the stoke surfing brings. Whether it is the amazing sunrises, the smiles on the faces of the groms and beginners, the wildlife pics, or showcasing the amazing surfing talent North Florida has to offer, the 911surfreport and Sunrise team have done an amazing job showcasing this to the world. One thing about all of the photographers in the area, is they are the most genuine and kind people you will ever meet. I encourage you to introduce yourself to them, and understand that most of them are surfers to. They are sacrificing some of their water time at some of the peak conditions, to help document the conditions to the rest of us.
Thank you Eddie, Julz, Alex, Ed, Terry, Moody, Jeff, and the many other surf photographers of North Florida for doing what you do, it is appreciated by a majority of us!!! Looking forward to seeing most of you in the water tomorrow!!
Well Johnny congrats on beating cancer!!! But I ride a board about 8’2 and I see guys out there that aren’t sponsored that can rip just as good IF NOT BETTER as people that are sponsored and eddie from 911surfreport, NO ONE AT surfjaxpier like tye or mike, and whoever does the sunrise surf shop surf report every morning will very few times show them and surfing and IF they do they will show a pretty crappy wave and them doing pretty bad on it. BUT THEN THERE BUDDIES THEY SHOW THE BEST OF THE BEST PICS AND EVEN I’VE EVEN SEEN THEM ADD PICS ONTO THE SET OF PICS FROM THE WAVE when they weren’t even doing that maneuver on that WAVE because IT BE IMPOSSIBLE… so it IS
TO basically GLORIFY CERTAIN SURFERS. WHICH CAUSES THEM TO BE TOTAL KOOKS IN THE WATER CUZ THEY THINK THEIR THE SHIT!!!
AND Kit Carson that’s a lie because I switch between the poles and the piers ALOT and haven’t seen myself on 911surfreport OR surfjaxpier…. and it’s the same DAMN people day after day! And for sunrisesurfshop.com surf report…. just look for yourself they MIGHT AS WELL CALL IT THE, SOLON SURF REPORT (solon is a really nice kid tho).

LMFAOOO JOSH you would be here cuz your like the on the sunrise surf shop report EVERY DAMN DAY!!! Why don’t you get a shortboard and then show us how it’s REALLY DONE. Because once you’ve seen JUST ONE SINGLE WAVE of you surfing you’ve basically seen everything in your arsenal but somehow you live on the surf report. But like I said IF your an ass kisser anything is possible.

I would personally like to surf with you. I just love the vibe you are giving off. Since you are the waterman you say you are, I’ll let you decide what we ride. With me weighing about 190#, I need anything from a 5’5 shortboard and up. I would love to surf with such an awesome surfer like yourself. You have a lot of talk, and I just can’t believe we have never met, in my 28 years surfing the Jacksonville area. I’ll be back out in the water this afternoon, please don’t hesitate to paddle by and say hi, if not, let us know where you will be surfing, and we’ll even try to get Surfer Magazine out to see you. If you can’t find me, I’ll be the guy having fun, enjoying the amazing waves we have today, and oh yeah and bringing the photographers coffee and cookies, since as you say I’m an ass kisser.
Do yourself a favor, and surf for fun. If you are trying to get sponsored or get noticed, you are taking the wrong approach.
