Good Morning Friday! We have small waves in the knee high range. It’s not looking great at report time but it’s rideable. The tide has recently turned and winds are moderate to strong out of the east. Bring the small wave gear if you’re going for it and check back for updates!

In the Tropics

Mother Nature is amazing! Right on schedule, we have 2 Tropical Systems worth watching, (has there ever been a late August or early September when that didn’t happen)? The first, a Tropical System coming off of Africa, and a second near Hispanola. At this point, Forecasters are calling for  the first to stay away from the USA and the second will move into the Gulf. Hopefully we’ll get some pumping surf without the negative impact of landfall. Keep an eye on the Tropics!
